How to read these figures

Where two sources give slightly different numbers, the chart states which one it uses. Purchasing-power parity (PPP) adjusts for what money buys in each country, so it is the better guide to what a Mexican household can afford; the current-price figure is the better guide to prices in dollars. Conversions between pesos and dollars use the rate stated in each source line. Forecasts are not shown.
